I believe you can change your appointment 2 times ( or probably three times only ). You should be able to change your appointment to Delhi if dates becomes available and you are within the limit of number of changes of appointments allowed.

If I were you, I would just do a little search in the forum and close this thread. There was an extensive discussion on this very topic for days and the thread had to be eventually closed because it was taking ugly turns. Let's not go that route again. Well there are plenty of Credit Unions who offer better rates if you do a little dance for them. They offer high interest checking accounts if you do x number of debit transaction and 1 ACH (direct deposit) etc. I have accounts with 2 such CUs (ADvantis & Oregon Community CU) which give me 3.0 & 2.9% respectively.
I'd rather use those debit cards that give me a good interest rate on my SAVINGS than credit cards (like chase) who give me 2-3% on my SPENDING.

Are you able to access the XML file using just your browser? You don't need a crossdomain file if the XAP is located in the same domain as that of your XML file - which it seems to be based on your description.

FYI...Anybody who has an appointment for a Visa stamping on Oct 1st at the U.S Consulate in Chennai, India, please contact the VFS office (91-44-4231-6767) to find out your new date of appointment (which the Consulate says, will be in the same week), if they have not intimated you by email already.

Hi,
I got my EAD renewed recently and by mistake I have interchanged my First Name and Last Name in the application. I received an approved EAD card also with the First Name and Last Name interchanged.
I noticed the problem only when I went to renew my Drivers License.
My questions are
1) What is the process to get the names rectified on an approved EAD
2) If I leave it as it, will it create any issues.

To best of my knowledge, a person on EAD (probably not the primary candidate) can work for anyone.. It can be City, State, Federal or McDonald's at any position, part time or full time, provided the job does not involve any government classified information. Jobs involving classified information are only for citizens that too after proper background check.
Primary candidate might work for the government i.e. if job requires skills that citizens don't have and that group has a policy of filing H1's..

Hi,
I am planning to file EB2 and port my EB3-I140 PD. My current position is System Analyst with EB3 job requirement. I can get a promotion but that doesnt qualify for EB2 job requirement. So I am planning to move to a different position, Research Associate which qualifies for EB2(it requires masters degree) with the same employer. Can I file EB2 with this position and port my EB3-I140 PD? Advice pls.

I have just gone thru March recording of IV lawyer call and the below caught my attention. Ms Susan mentioned that any company name change after I140 approval has to refile I 140. I am utterly confused as that particular scenario affect me and i would like to know what best course of action i can take at this point.
I filed LC and I 140 with company A
My I 140 got approved
Before i filed my I 485 my company changed its name
I asked my attorney at that time if we need to take any special action
Attorney said they can just add an amendment while applying for I 485 about name change and apply with approved I 140, which is with old company name.
I and my wife work on EAD for past 3 years and i am still employed with same company. I wonder which one of above attorney is correct and what i should do.
Does the fact that my I485 is pending for more than 180 days after approval of my I 140 will come to rescue in case of question about company name change (AC21)

Is it necessary to involve your attorney or you can simply go ahead and file AC21 yourself?
I would like to what others have done? What kind of extra fees your attorney has charged for AC21?

My PD is 08/04/06, and my AP is expiring on June 2nd, I probably will have to travel sometimes June end. I am in a fix if I should go ahead and apply for Ap now. My PD will be current begining June 1st. I heard it may take 1 week to 60 days to get GC after your date becomes current, Do you guys think it's good idea to just apply for AP just in case?

You may apply for AP at any time right? If you apply now, it is very unlikely that you will receive before your June end travel. And if you don't get your GC in june what will you do ? see, it is very easy to ask confusing questions. :)
