Whenever i plug my AC adapter into my PB it starts charging as normal. As soon as i plug in a firewire cable it kicks my AC power off. Can someone tell me what is going on ? I need to use my G5 as a hardrive and burn a DVD studio Pro DVD and the battery won't suffice. Ideas ?

Pity Isilons suck. Great for IT, bad for the end-user. They support all sorts of protocols, none of them properly.

Because it took so long? Heaven forbid that they delay a product that is having problems, that just wouldn't make any sense. If you mean it is disgraceful that thy haven't been more open about the entire situation then I couldn't agree more.

Eh, people are reading the data completely wrong. The iPhone 4 dropped on Verizon in mid to late February and had 2.2mil activations by the end of the quarter (roughly 6-7 weeks later), at & t had it for roughly six weeks (almost double the time of Verizon) and only managed 3.6 mil activations. Verizon is activating MORE iPhones than AT&T at a faster rate, including the 3GS deal.
Im trying to figure out why media sites keep getting this so hopelessly wrong. This device sold 2 million+ units being a ten month old product in SIX WEEKS. Do you realize that that is nearly 15% of the lifetime sales of the most successful line of android phones (the galaxy s) in six weeks? If that's bad then **** according to this logic android is really ****ed.

This isn't about Verizon iPhone versus AT&T iPhone. Its 100% about Apple's expectations. Maybe Apple blew their expectations, but its doubtful they didn't build in a future iPhone 5 launch keeping people on the sidelines, Android releases, etc.

I am from PA and vacationing in the Outer Banks in NC right now, so I think I might make a drive to MacArthur to line up and get iPhones tomorrow. I just called and got the same info about the store opening at 7 while the mall is opening at 6 for people on line so I might get there at 5am tomorrow.

I could not disagree more. There is nothing wrong with a focused keynote. In fact, it is somewhat refreshing once and a while to have a situation where the man himself takes the time to really go into what I believe is one of the most revolutionary concepts I have seen. Not only is it functional, but aesthetically it is amazing. The price is high if you were expecting them to give it away, but the fact is they have pulled it off and brought mobile technology to the next level and far beyond.

Your thinking seems to contradict yourself back and forth.
Are you really saying that because Japan had limited natural resources it was justified in seizing Korea, invading Manchuria, invading China, attacking the Soviets, invading Indonesia, and attacking any country that decided not to resupply Japan's war machine?
I'd say you're totally wrong in trying to justify Japan's war of expansion
