Why, what good does it do, does it bring back the people who where killed? Or if your goal is just to keep him from doing it again then wouldn't locking him up for life do the trick?

No, it's just principle. Some people just need to be "removed" from the world. It's as simple as that. Like if you rape a baby for example, i think you pretty much just stripped yourself of your right to be alive. Euthanize them like a dog, why not? And also, you don't know if some judge 50 years in the future will release them for good behavior and so they can "die in peace".

Hey all, currently I use an Apple 20" HD display with my 12" powerbook. I use a MacAlly iceKey keyboard, which I totally love except the white color does not match so well with the aluminium display and laptop. Anyone know of a good USB or BT keyboard that would closely resemble the actual keyboard on my PB?

Yes you are certainly charging way too little. My basic sites start at $500 and go up from there depending on what the client wants. Usually I charge it by the job and in some cases, there will be add on's and I usually charge $50-$75 per hour for that work. I have a few NPO's and for them I start my quotes to them at $300 for the job.

From the sounds of this guy you're dealing with, I would just move on and forget him. Finish whatever you've started and end it there.

Some sales rep is really, really happy right now. As is EMC, who just acquired Isilon. Promotions all around!

And, it's not cheap storage either. Even using 2T Enterprise-class drives (I am not aware yet of any 3T drives at that level), it's 7,224 drives (1024T per petabyte).

I'm assuming it's raw (no RAID, no fileystem) storage. If it's cooked, then it's considerably more drives. Man., that's a lot of racks full of whirring spindles.

Or, to look at it another way, that's enough storage to give 50G to just under 15 million users. Whee! :D

Yep... Confirmed here too. But for the size, design and price of this little unit I just can't find anything to complain about. ...The laser engraving could have been a bit bigger, but hey I can read it just fine - just my name and phone number in case I lose it at the gym.

If it's under warranty get Apple to send you a new one. If not check what it's power output is. The newer ones are 65W and there's fewer third party chargers that provide that level of output. The old ones were 45W and there's stacks of third party chargers that are compatible. An even cursory glance at a place like OWC should find some.

The 8-active FAH Cores answered my question, but maybe it will help someone to know that one client takes care of it all now. This sure is nicer than the beta!

I really hope they get the graphics working with the Macs soon. I find the output from my PS3 so soothing.

EDIT: Back down to 4. Anyone have any insight about what is going on?
