The studios want to avoid the experience of the music industry, which has yet to recover from years of illegal digital piracy. Apple must introduce a �new model� for feature film content delivery, said one studio executive involved in the talks. With the average cost of a blockbuster film approaching $100m, movie studios had more to lose than music companies, he added.
Wow, pardon me for stating the obvious here. But you can't "buy" a good movie. So there's no requirement that a studio spend $100 mil per picture. You don't have to use expensive special effects to bring in audiences. There are these things called "good writing" "engaging plot" and "talented acting" that I hear also draw people to theaters as well.

Might want to check the signature app in the store. I've had it for over a year, you can choose up to 6 signatures. Use to be called signature pro, but my app says just Signature.

If this (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/email-signature-pro/id317243351?mt=8) is what you are talking about, the current version is $5. Which would be fine, except the recent reviews are very poor.
It also looks (from the screencaps) like you run the app to pick one of a handful of signatures, when most of us just want to have one specific signature assigned each mailbox...

Haven't listened to them for quite some and accidentally stumbled upon their new LP "There Is No Enemy". Damn did I miss these guys. I loaded the new album on my iPod for a quick listen for my 5min hike to the store. Well I ended up walking around for like 45mins totally spaced and only came to when the cd ended. All in all, good walk - great cd.;)

The event in itself is incredibly despicable and very sad, but to add insult to injury by saying something unbelievably stupid and downright mean? Seriously do these people think before they speak? All I can say is wtf is wrong with people.

Guessing that MobileMe (as it is now) will go free, and then the premium service will allow backup and access to all your system. $100 a year for that would definitely be worth it.

Not true.. I am the Art Director for a Art department that makes grocery store ads.
Soda is not a common loss leader since it's DSD Pepsi/Coke keep close price controls.
I usually see produce and meat used as loss leaders..

Another point... I expect that TJ MAXX just bought up a bunch of the Refurbished iPads and is taking a $50 loss on each to get people in the stores.
That's true: soda/chips not loss leaders but maintained by rack jobbers.

The iPad isn't a "serious" computer. It's just a toy.

It is a toy. You can't seriously think that professionals are going to depend on Photoshop for iPad and throw away their computer can you? That's like throwing away your computer because GarageBand is also available on the iPad, and attempting to produce an album on an iPad. Impossible.
No matter what Steve says, it is a toy! I think it is brilliant you can do these things on such a simple product for the average user, but they are nothing more than for... the average user.

Something that has occoured to me, is there is a missing feature on this forum. It's a feature that I have only ever seen on GameFAQs, but have never seen anywhere else.
The marking system. Basically, each post has a button on it, that when you click it, you go to a page where you can "mark" a message, You can mark it for spamming, flaming, etc... There is a variety of options. Anyway, once you have marked it, it goes into a todo list for the mods. They can then review this message, and remove it or change it.
Basically, it allows people to easily inform the mods if there is a bad post. Currently, you have to PM the mods. This makes it easier. Oh, and if you abuse the system, you get punished.
Anouther feature from GameFAQs, is the Karma system, which ties in with the mod system. Basically, when you get moderated, you loose Karma. And you gain one Karma per day, as long as you have at least one active post.
I suppose I've only seen these features at GameFAQs, because it is the scurge of all earth. And I love it.
MacRumors in the most friendly fourm on the internet, but GameFAQs has a wide variety of topics. It's the birthplace of many interesting things. Like the unholy trinity... Don't ask.

The back of that car looks like a BMW. I quite like it, still not a fan of the new VW front grills though unfortunately.
One car I'd love to see in the US (as I may well end up living there one day) is the Ford Mondeo sold in the European market. Absolutely love the design of that car for a saloon/sedan.
